Cascade Stables offers a full Saddleseat riding lesson program for children ages 4 to Adult.
Lessons are by appointment only
Tuesday - Sunday, 9am-6pm
The barn is closed on Mondays!
Private Lesson $40 for half hour one-on-one lesson (Ages 6&up)
Semi-Private lesson $35/person half hour (2 people, ages 6&up)
Group lessons $30/person (3-6 people, ages 6&up)
Mini Lessons for children ages 4&5
A "Mini Lesson" is a one-on-one 20 minute private lesson offered for children
ages 4&5 to learn the basics of horseback riding before moving up into half hour
private lessons or 45 minute group lessons (Starting at age 6).
Mini Lessons $25 for 20 minutes one-on-one lesson (Ages 4&5)

All lessons are in the riding arena with an instructor.
Lessons start promptly a the scheduled time. In order to provide all riders with their full lesson, we are unable to adjust lesson time due to tardiness. We appreciate your cooperation.
If the rider wishes to help groom and tack their horse, they may arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled lesson. Grooming and tacking is optional, but not required. Please let the instructor know when the lesson is scheduled if the rider would like to assist in grooming and tacking, so we can properly accommodate you.
Long pants and close-toe shoes are required apparel for riding. Boots with a 1 inch heel are preferred. Helmets are highly suggested and can be provided by the stable if the rider does not own one.

Opportunities for children under 6
We offer pony parties year round!
$250 for a 2 hour party, with a $50 non-refundable deposit.
We provide the pony and seating.

Also for children under 6 we offer pony rides (separate from pony parties). Pony rides are $5 per every two rounds. Helmets are REQUIRED for children to ride “Ginger” and may be provided by the stable.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your lesson, please call and notify us at least 8 hours in advance. We will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment. If you do not call you will be charged for the full amount of the lesson. If you have a weekly time slot and you miss one lesson without cancellation, you automatically forfeit your alloted time slot.
